Facebook to launch playable ads in its news feed
Good news for affiliates working with apps and gaming. Facebook is planning to launch playable gaming ads.
These ads will resemble demo versions of games and will have a time limit. Users have to interact with an advertised game for 5 seconds to download it and 15 seconds to receive an in-game reward.
Users are more likely to install a game they have just interacted with. This format’s CPM is 60% higher than that of a traditional video, while the retention is 50% higher.
So, affiliates working with Facebook and apps should familiarize themselves with this new ad format and start launching campaigns involving playable ads in order to make a good profit.
